He checks all the boxes as an elite athlete with tremendous projected draft capital. Jordan Addison projects to be a slot receiver in the NFL due to his size, but he has excellent speed. Finally, he checks every box, and where he lands and measurements could easily move him ahead of Smith-Njigba. He is just as dangerous in catch-and-run situations as he is excellent at taking the top off a defense. Johnston has looked great making catches in traffic, with an impressive catch radius due to his long arms and elite leaping ability. He’ll make some noise at the NFL Combine for sure. On top of that, he has vertical-jumped 42 inches, broad-jumped 11 feet, and clocked a 4.4 40. He has a fantastic build at 6’4 and 210 pounds. Quentin Johnston could be one of the best wide receivers in this 2023 rookie draft class as he could be the first receiver drafted this year and a potential top-10 pick in the NFL Draft. Brown, he is the type of player where he has good but not elite speed. Smith has a great in-route tree and is often used on deep routes, getting separation down the sideline or over the middle on crossing routes by extending his arms rather than pure speed. In his Sophomore year, Smith led Ohio State in receptions and yardage in 2021 despite playing officially as the third receiver behind Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson. Smith looked like the clear WR1 and checks all the boxes with elite draft capital, declaring early, early breakout age, and has played with elite-level competition. *Sophmore Stats* (Played just three games in 2022)Īt 1.05, we have our first wide receiver off the board in Jaxon Smith-Njigba. ![]() Ultimately, where Gibbs goes in the NFL Draft and if he can get that three-down role will play a big part in his value this offseason. NFL scouts have praised his cuts and decision-making as he has the vision, and confidence to hit holes and possesses fluidity as a runner. He is a fantastic athlete, fast, and has solid strength. Gibbs is a great pass catcher as he projects well at a fantasy level due to his Alvin Kamara-type playstyle. Since this is a 2QB format, I’ll take Jahmyr Gibbs here at the 1.04. However, he doesn’t take off very often, which hurts a quarterback’s value in fantasy and ultimately, for your dynasty teams. Stroud is mobile and can move in the pocket very well. Overall, Stroud has made excellent decisions, gotten the ball out fast, and sprayed the field with great accuracy. His scouting report shows his strengths as good touch on balls that attack the defense vertically and horizontally. Stroud fits the mold of an NFL quarterback and will have tremendous draft capital due to this. Stroud has had a good year, he is a Heisman candidate and a potential top-10 NFL draft pick. In short, there are some concerns with Young, he has such a high ceiling to where you have to take him at the 1.02. He also has a very quick and NFL-ready release which helps him produce his excellent deep ball. Young looks very Pro-ready, as many scouts have said Young has a fantastic throwing technique which gives him great zip and velocity on his passes. ![]() The only reason I have him at two is that there is a red flag in Young’s size. In 2QB leagues, quarterbacks have elite value, so drafting a guy with upside like Young is the right pick here. 1.02 – QB Bryce Youngīryce Young is my QB1 in the class, so it only makes sense to take him here in a 2QB league. Overall he has the highest floor and ceiling in the draft with no red flags, unlike every other prospect. He seems to be a late first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, so if he goes to a good offensive team, that boosts his stock even more. Robinson checks all the boxes of a three-down NFL back as he is a great pass catcher with the ideal NFL running back size at 6′ and 220 pounds. Let’s get right into it with this 2023 NFL Dynasty Rookie Mock Draft.īijan Robinson is one of the best running backs we’ve seen since Saquon Barkley, and it will be tough to pass on him even in a 2QB format. This mock will be for 2QB leagues, which are leagues where you’re required to start two quarterbacks. In 2QB and Superflex leagues, the quarterbacks will be heavily valued, as opposed to your traditional 1QB leagues. We’ll get to see some of these prospects at the Senior Bowl, the NFL Combine, and finally, at the NFL Draft. Checking out the upcoming rookies and trying to acquire more future draft picks are what makes dynasty leagues so fun. The off-season is arguably the most fun time of the year for your dynasty fantasy football leagues.
